Amy is a Licensed Social Worker with over 17 years of experience in providing therapeutic interventions to children and families as well as counseling adolescents and young adults. Amy graduated with a BA in Psychology from Penn State and received her Master of Social Work degree with specialization in Direct Practice from the University of Pittsburgh. Amy works with a variety of issues including individuals struggling with depression and mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, grief and loss, multiple diagnoses, family issues, and chronic medical issues.
I am an outgoing, open-minded therapist with a passion for children and adolescents as well as anyone struggling with multiple issues. You can expect open communication and an empathic nature with me. We live in a stressful world but must learn how to manage our thoughts, emotions and behaviors to live the best life possible. Mental and physical health can be managed and I am here to guide you to work on effective coping skills. My goal is to help you reach the healthy goals for which you strive.
