Allison Spinneweber, LCSW

Allison is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over two decades of experience with children, adolescents, and adults in the community mental health field and private practice. She received her B.S. in Family and Child Sciences from Florida State University and Masters of Social Work from The University of Pittsburgh with a specialization in Mental Health. Allison was trained in EMDR in 2015 and uses this modality of therapy with the majority of her clients. She is EMDR Certified through EMDRIA and is an EMDR Consultant in Training.

EMDR Intensives

While Allison is not taking any new weekly clients, she does offer cash pay 6 hour EMDR intensive sessions. This is ideal for those with a high deductible, or those who have a FSA/HSA plans available to use. Please reach out to for more information.

EMDR Certification

While Allison maintains a small caseload, she is primarily focused on hiring and developing competent, trauma-informed staff. Allison is passionate about the effectiveness of EMDR, and assists with training and certification of staff in EMDR.
