With nearly four years of experience in domestic violence counseling, I've developed a deep understanding of complex relationship dynamics and the many ways trauma shapes our lives. I work with survivors of trauma as well as secondary survivors (people who love someone who has been through something hard), offering a space to process, heal, and feel whole again.
What I care about most is creating an environment where you can show up as your full, authentic self. That means letting yourself feel big feelings without shame or blame, which is something I find genuinely powerful to witness as a clinician. Emotions aren't problems to be fixed; they're information worth honoring.
I work with young adults and older, drawing from a person-centered and humanistic foundation, with CBT and DBT woven in where they're useful. And yes — I'm known to pull out a good worksheet when the moment calls for it.
Whether I'm your first therapist or your fifth, my goal is the same: for you to feel as comfortable and safe as possible. Come as you are. There's no version of you that needs to be polished before walking through the door.
